I've kind of become obsessed with the prettiness of these pretty little bites. Not to be confused with those toasted coconut concoctions available at any little corner backshop worth it's salt (pun intended). These delicious little treats are like a crackly merangue with a soft centre. And because they are available in many different flavours and colours, and are often packaged like an expensive pair of glasses, they are the ultimate food accessory.
Ever since Herme showed them in a fashion-show like atmosphere in 2001, these gems have been all the rage in sweet treats.
So I say kick up your heels and devour these beautiful images while you indulge in your favorite snack. And do it like the French do: guilt free.
